10 March 2006: "Nuestras Raices Literary Arts Festival" , "Homenaje- La Vida de Lalo Guerrero (memorial celebration) was a great event! Los Changuitos Feos started and ended the excellent presentations that celebrated Lalo Guerrero's life's accomplishes.

25 March 2006: Tucson 4th Avenue Street Fair, was a great success! Los Changuitos Feos was one of the main musical attractions drawing large audiences. They looked, sang, and played great!  4th Street Fair Performance in Tucson March 2006 Movie- Click Here      and        (Click here for photos)

8 April 2006:  First Annual Los Changuitos Feos Golf Tournament- Golf tournamnt was a great success which greatly contributed to the scholarship fund. Click here for Photos of Golf Tourney

22 April 2006:  Saint Mary's Family Festival

1 May 2006: The Tucson International Mariachi Conference was a wonderful experience (video press here ).  Congratulations Changuitos for playing in the Student Showcase, the "Espectacular", and at the Garibaldi Festival. You did a wonderful job and made many Tucsonans very happy! The Changos played a significant part in establishing the mariachi roots for the Conference (see http://www.tucsonmariachi.org/mariachi-roots.cfm ).

3 May 2006: Cherry Avenue Center Cinco de Mayo Fun Fair & Fiesta on Saturday 6 May 2006

27 August 2006: Celebrate Tucson's 231st Birthday at aTardeada to be held at the Casino Ballroom. Los Changuitos Feos will perform with Los Gallegos Band on Sunday, 27 August from 2:00 to 6:oo P.M.(Press here for Details).

 

 

 

Los Changuitos Feos de Tucson is a youth mariachi group whose multiple purposes are to provide creative and wholesome activity for its members; to develop members' artistic talent and social maturity; to instill in members self esteem and pride in music, language and culture; to develop a sense of community; to promote the City of Tucson; to entertain and bring joy of spirit to others; and to provide college scholarship support to graduating members.
