Hi , my married name is Estella Sanchez.  (I'm known as Estella Montanez)
I played with Los Changuitos Feos from 1984 or 1985 to 1989.  I'm in your 1980's
photo album, with Jeff, Mark, Tony, Adolfo, Jerry, Michelle, Esther, Edna, Javier. Looking at your web page brought alot of good memories back. The only name I
recognized on the list of board members is Jerry Bustamante.   (Hi Jerry . I hope you and your family are doing fine.)  I would like to be on your list of old "Changuitos Feos" members.        
     I would like to share with you what I''ve done since I left Los Changos.  Shortly after I joined Ballet Folklorico La Paloma  in Tucson.   I got married in 1993 and moved to Northern California.   I danced in a folklorico group here in town for a while, until  I heard that an all female Mariachi Group was being formed here in Town.   I got so excited and joined.  Mariachi Femenil Las  Aguilas  was the first all female group to be formed around here.  We participated in some mariachi conferences in San Jose and Fresno.  I played with them for a couple years.   Then off and on because I wanted to spend more time with my three sons.  We are  expecting our little girl in two weeks.   I'm also taking a  break from work.  I work 30 hours a week for a large Law Firm .
        Some day I would like to continue playing my violin in a mariachi group.
